Stunning location with varied activities and sight seeing all within easy reach
A modern, comfortable, quiet two or three bedroom cottage with an upstairs double bedroom and ensuite shower room. On the ground floor there is a sitting room with gas fire opening out onto the patio. The dining area has a seating for eight people with separate well equipped kitchen. A second twin bedroom and bathroom is on the ground floor. There is a third double bedroom available as required which shares the bathroom on the ground floor. All the bedrooms have fitted cupboards. The sitting room has a sofa bed and a desk. A sunny paved terrace with far reaching views and outside seating with a BBQ. There is off road parking for several cars . It is situated in the heart of the South Downs National Park near Midhurst, Petworth and Chichester with easy reach of the coast and beautiful walking with far reaching views and amazing sunsets. We are close to events at Cowdray Park, The Goodwood Estate, Petworth House and Chichester Festival Theatre. There are several pubs to eat at close and there is a village shop a couple of miles away. The cottage has Sky+ TV in the sitting room and main bedroom plus a DVD player with a library of DVD’s and books and games to use. There is a docking station for an iPhone.
Very helpful and friendly owner. This was our 2nd stay at Long Meadow and it’s like a home from home. Beautiful and peaceful rural setting within easy reach of the pretty town of Midhurst.

We have a wonderful week in this lovely, comfortable cottage. The site of the cottage is lovely, with extensive views over the Downs. It is in easy reach of so many interesting places to visit, and we hope to return very soon. We would recommend this lovely accommodation to anyone looking for a peaceful break.

What a lovely place to stay! Peaceful, beautiful and surrounded by amazing countryside. It would be a challenge not to relax here. Very close to the wonderful small town of Midhurst and the market town of Petworth famous for antiques and the impressive Petworth Park. There is so much to do within a few miles and that's not to mention the nearby breweries and vineyards, walks from the doorstep, cycling and superb restaurants. You couldn't ask for a better, more well appointed property to enjoy the area from. Highly recommended.
